Apply for this roleAbout Mona
Mona is building the agents behind family law. A team of AI agents reads every page of a case, follows every dollar across every account, and remembers every client interview, then turns it into the analysis, case strategy, and work product an attorney reviews and signs. We started with the financial side of divorce, the largest financial decision most families ever make.
We are a small team that works closely with the attorneys who use Mona, and we intend to stay small. We expect ownership, rigor, and honesty about what works and what does not yet, and we give people the trust and room to act on them.
About the role
As Data Coordinator, you will build and keep the legal data Mona reasons from: the forms attorneys file, the law that governs them, and the case files our agents are measured against. You will find and secure sources, track every version, and make sure each one is used only as its permissions allow.
Responsibilities
- Source and maintain each state's Statement of Net Worth forms, their revisions, and the rules behind them
- Build and curate the statutes, court rules, and case law in Mona's legal reference data
- Assemble anonymized case files for evaluation with each firm's consent, and keep their permissions and privacy handling in order
- Track where every source came from, which version is in force, and when it changes
- Work with engineering and the attorneys we serve to decide which data matters next
You may be a fit if
- You have 2+ years as a paralegal, legal researcher, or in a legal-data or litigation-support role
- You read statutes, court rules, and forms closely and notice when they change
- You keep many sources, versions, and permissions straight at once
- You handle confidential client material with care
Strong candidates may also
- Have family-law or matrimonial experience
- Have worked with legal research databases or court filing systems
- Have handled privacy, redaction, or anonymization of sensitive records
- Use spreadsheets, scripts, or AI tools to organize data
