What Mona can and can't do

What Mona does for you

You can hand Mona work at every stage of a case, including asking it to:

  • Read the case's documents
  • Extract, clean, and visualize data
  • Manage intake and other context sources
  • Analyze and verify statements of net worth against the evidence, including assets and liabilities
  • Manage case strategy and maintain a working case memory
  • Analyze family law issues such as equitable distribution and support calculations, with citations to the source evidence
  • Draft discovery documents such as discovery demands, subpoenas, and interrogatories, with citations to the source evidence
  • Answer any question you have about the case

For how to ask and what Mona can reach, see Mona.

What Mona doesn't do

Mona is guardrailed to protect your and your client's sensitive information: it has no tool that contacts anyone, and its legal research searches leave out names, amounts, and other facts of the case. It does not send emails, file with a court, keep your calendar up to date, or bill clients. It also does not reach legal conclusions for you or predict outcomes in the case memo.
